Welcome to the Great Western Franchisee Association, an Association
of Burger King® Franchisees
GWFA MISSION STATEMENT
The Great Western Franchisee Association (GWFA) is an association of Burger King ® Franchisees. We are an association of peers who value each and every Member’s thoughts and concerns. The GWFA exists to add value to its Members. We encourage the sharing of ideas and best practices, and provide a forum for discussion and action on issues important to our business…the profitable operation of Burger King® Restaurants.
Our membership consists of approximately 80 Franchisee Entities.
We operate 634 Burger King Restaurants located in Alaska, Northern California, Idaho, Montana, Northern Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Western Wyoming.
We meet three times a year at various resorts and hotels in Northern
California and in the Oregon/Washington area. Occasionally, we have
meetings outside these areas like Alaska, Las Vegas, and other great
venues.
Our meetings are structured so vendors are included in almost all
aspects of the meeting. We generally have between 60 to 70 Franchisees
and Managing Directors attend a typical meeting. Mandatory interaction
with vendors at the trade shows is part of our program.
The meetings always consist of a variety of social and business
functions including trade shows, cocktail parties, sometimes golf
tournaments and other group events.
These meetings offer an unique opportunity for our attending vendors
to have quality “face to face time” with the leading decision makers for
649 +/- Burger King® restaurants.
Continued, solid vendor support and participation over the years
has been the key to our success. We look forward to seeing your
company represented at one of our upcoming meetings.
